How to Renew Your SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) Certification

The SAFe Scrum Master certification comes with a one-year SAFe Foundational Membership. To keep your certification active beyond this period, you’ll need to renew your membership. There are two options for renewing your SAFe Scrum Master certification:

Renew membership: Pay a yearly fee of $195 (USD) to extend your SAFe Foundational Membership for another year, ensuring your SAFe Scrum Master certification stays up-to-date.

Obtain a new certification: Sign up for an additional Scaled Agile certification course, such as the SAFe PO-PM (Product Owner/Product Manager). Successfully completing this course will automatically renew your current SAFe Scrum Master certification and prolong your SAFe Foundational Membership for one more year.

To renew your membership, follow these steps:

• Access your SAFe Studio account by logging in.
  On the homepage, click the “Renew Now” button.
• Proceed with the renewal process as guided by the on-screen instructions.
