Which SAFe Certification is best for project manager ?
The Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) primarily targets product-based organizations and, by design, does not explicitly focus on project management. However, we’ve noticed that many project managers express interest in understanding how SAFe operates. Some organizations even implement Essential SAFe, a lightweight version of SAFe, while still utilizing projects and project managers.
Our recommendation is that project managers should aim to have a comprehensive understanding of SAFe without necessarily aligning themselves with a specific role defined in the SAFe framework. In this regard, we suggest project managers pursue the Leading SAFe training alongside the SAFe Agilist certification. For more detailed information on the SAFe Agilist certification, we have an elaborative blog post available titled “What is SAFe Agilist.“
If you’re comparing SAFe certifications with the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, we invite you to read our blog post titled “SAFe Certification Vs PMP ” for helpful insights.
We regularly conduct Leading SAFe sessions in live online and classroom formats in cities such as Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Pune, and Hyderabad.
